a hope for a healthy new year is coming into fruition. Daran is still going strong with his intent in running, and as an inspiration to me, I have now started that journey. Although I can't run a whole mile yet, I am getting there and I can feel it!! what's even more great is Sammie wants to run too! I have gone on a few runs with her and I think she is going to kick our butts one day !
Today Sammie started swimming (with her friend Noah) and she looooved it. Although she chatted the whole time!! lol. she tested to start on the second level (of course I was proud, but also very nervous since she had never had lessons before!!). She was able to hold her breath, swim under and grab rings from her teachers arm AND float on her back all by herself! The teacher was so proud, because he tricked her by telling her he was holding on, when he wasn't.
Also Sammie started Jazz this weekend. Apparently shaving her booty is not hard for her to do. She totally enjoyed it and did GREAT!!
I am a very proud mommy!!
Today I also walked and ran almost 5 miles! I just kept wanting to go now! I also want to take swimming with Sammie too, Southbay Aquatics is just amazing!!
My goal is to be able to run/walk a half marathon by my 40th! Wish me luck!!
